The call for abstracts for the 10th annual EUSPR conference in Ghent, Belgium are now open. Those wishing to submit can do so here. The deadline for submissions is Friday 17th May.
This year’s conference Looking over the Walls embraces a multidisciplinary perspective, and welcomes presentations on multi-component programs, or on strategies for the modification of multiple risk behaviours.
We encourage participants to share their experiences on:
- Examples of projects working to understand or reduce a broad spectrum of risk behaviours
- Approaches and components that may effectively tackle different risk behaviours
- Unconventional sectors to bridge with when “looking over the walls”
- Changes in professional skills that will be necessary in research, policy-making and practices when aiming for a cross-disciplinary and inter-sectorial approach to prevention
We invite you to prepare and submit abstracts on the conference theme, but also welcome submissions on all prevention science related topics, including discussion papers, and theoretical and methodological developments.
This year you will be able to submit work for consideration in traditional oral and poster sessions, and to propose linked papers for a colloquium/symposium, but there will also be opportunities to present through formats such as an inspiring ‘TED’ style talks on a prevention theme; 20 x 20 presentations (20 slides x 20 seconds each); ‘campfires’; and an oral poster session.
Abstracts for consideration can be submitted here.
